Acupuncture in Peterborough

I am Cai Thorpe (郑彩) , graduated from the UK Academy of Chinese Medicine, qualified traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) acupuncturist and member of three acupuncture societies FTCMP, CAHMA & BAF. I specialise in treating a range of problems using a variety of techniques including TCM needling (normally 0.16-0.25mm diameter dry needles), needle-free acupressure, cupping, herbal medicine, moxibustion and Tuina (Chinese massage).

To obtain faster treatment effects and shorten the whole treatment process, I spends quite a big part of time for consultation and assessment and normally use only a few needles and mainly chooses points on the limbs.

Originally from China, my earliest experience of practising traditional Chinese medicine was to help my family by following instructions given by my great grandfather’s old friend, a retired acupuncturist. The results from my efforts influenced me and drove me to study traditional Chinese medicine to help more people.
